Leg Day 3-19-2016

I figured if I was going to have a fitness blog I should be sharing what I’m doing.


  1. Leg Press 4 sets 20-25reps
  2. Hack Squat sled 4 sets 12-15reps
  3. Power Cleans 3 sets 2-3reps
  4. Squats 4 sets 4-6reps
  5. Smith Machine Squats 4 sets 12-15reps
  6. Leg Ext +Leg Curl (superset) 7sets failure

I usually follow a three day split. MTh – Chest/Biceps, TueFri – Back/Shoulders, WedSat – Legs/triceps. At the end of most of my sets I throw in rest pause. So I’ll get to my last rep and failure. Then I’ll pause for 15seconds and go for failure again. I tossed Cleans back in my routine as it’s something I haven’t been doing. Adding that dynamic lift to further tax the muscles.
